Insulating CO2 gas filter

Gas filter for carbon dioxide based insulation gas.

Used when electrical equipment is to be emptied of insulating gas into the atmosphere. Filters away particles and ensures a good working environment for the operator.

The filter is connected to objects to be emptied and the gas passes the Insulating CO2 Gas Filter before it reaches the atmosphere. Residues in the form of particles are filtered off and stuck in the filter insert.

NOTE! Ensure that the insulating gas that is handled may be released into the atmosphere. Check the gas type according to applicable laws/directives.

Insulating CO2 Gas Filter consists of the following components:

  • Coupling piece for objects to be emptied on gas, ABB/ASEA adapter.
  • Manual valve for opening/closing of gas flow.
  • Manometer for reading incoming gas pressure.
  • Gas regulator for pressure adjustment, maximum pressure for filtration.
  • Particle filter with interchangeable filter insert.
  • Protective cap made of rubber to protect the coupling piece.
  • The Insulating CO2 Gas Filter is supplied in specially designed cardboard.
